amillionexpectations: Imam Dayiee Abdullah, one of the few openly gay Imams in the world. I hope I get the opportunity to meet this inspirational man one day. I think most people who have a problem with this do so because he is openly gay, and proud of it as well. As long as we are silent, there is no problem. FUCK SILENCE! Conservative Muslims (conservatives in general) cannot stand the fact that there are openly gay Muslims who have no issue with their sexuality and their religious views. If you have issues with gay Muslims, it is YOUR problem, not theirs. Let them be. We should all be proud of our sexuality, regardless of our religious views or lack thereof.
